The Lee Wedding

My friends Enoch and Kristin at their wedding yesterday. Not the most flattering photo, but it was taken with my cell phone, so what can you expect?
As is to be expected from LDS weddings in Utah, The whole affair lasted from about 11:00 am until sundown - a true test of one's endurance.
Jen's and my ceremony will be significantly shorter than this because we are having the ceremony and reception at the same place, rather than getting married at temple in the morning and having a ring ceremony for the rest of the friends and family that evening. I was lucky enough not to burst into flames standing on the steps of the Salt Lake LDS Temple for the photos...

Burst into flames because of the heat or burst into flames because you are an unbeliever and a heretic?

Hey I never once burst into flames when I attended BYU...although after the recent firing of the philosophy professor Nielson, I am thinking twice about giving them my alumni money...but that's another topic for another blog.

Ooh! They fired a phil prof...? I hadn't heard. Guess that narrows my job market. I'll have to check that out. Still, I attended a wedding at the Temple once and was truly amazed that I didn't get struck down by the lightning as it rained on the whole procession. :) My best wishes to the Lees!
